This year, 2020-2021, our theme is celebrating the premiere of MTV, August 2021. The networks was originally devoted to airing music videos, which had been experimentally produced for years, 24 hours a day, giving an outlet for singers, musicians, and bands to explore their music in another form of media. We’re looking for work that explores artistic freedom. Don’t try to write to the theme—let us fit your work into our theme—which means SUBMIT ANY OF YOUR WORK!
Please submit no more than 10 poems during the reading period, 10 short stories during the reading period, or 10 creative nonfiction pieces during the reading period. We also accept novel excerpts. If you are submitting more than one poem, please submit each one individually.
Include your Penn State ID Number, and a brief (no more than 100 words) bio with your submission. All work is considered for both print and online publication.
WE ARE NOW READING FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR. Expect a response to your submission by March 10th, 2021.
