How To Submit

We’re looking for works of artistic freedom. Don’t try to write to the theme—let us fit your work into our theme—which means SUBMIT ANY OF YOUR WORK!

Please submit no more than 8 poems during the reading period, 4 short stories during the reading period, 4 creative nonfiction pieces, or 4 essays/academic papers during the reading period. We also accept novel excerpts. If you are submitting more than one poem, please submit each one individually.

We’d also like to see your artwork—photographs, paintings, drawings, sketches, graphic novels—SUBMIT!

Include your Penn State ID Number, and a brief (no more than 100 words) bio with your submission. All work is considered for both print and online publication.

THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR.
